Vicodin and Jello

Well, yesterday marked another oral surgery. I got my wisdom teeth out! I was a little apprehensive after the removal of my tonsils, which after two weeks of healing left me looking like an emaciated child. So comparatively, much to my delight, getting my wisdom teeth out has been a walk in the park! The surgeon gave me laughing gas before knocking me out, so I was extremely happy when I woke up. When my mom came in the room to see me, I was raving about how much fun I had. Hmm...the nurses liked me because another common reaction to waking up from the anesthetic is tears. I was happy to be compliant. So, except for having slight chipmunk cheeks, I'm doing pretty well. The only obstacle to be cleared is dry sockets, which wouldn't show up until Sunday or Monday. However, so far the discomfort has been minimal and I've gotten to lay low.

Venice!!! I went on a fabulous trip to Italy in October with my dad. I had an amazing time spending time with him and seeing the gorgeous sites of Italy.
